Hi my fiance and I are planning on getting married on 05/25/2012. We want to do it on the beach in southern california ( we also live in so cal) My problem is I want to find a nice beach for a DIY wedding, but everything I come across seems to be a prepackaged deal... Any help with location advice and/or permit information would help greatly!

I've never been to California, so can't recommend a nice beach. However, I do know that even in sunny CA you do get rainy days and wind. This means you should keep shelter in mind in case of inclement weather. So, how about this idea:
Rent a beach house! Benefits:
* Shelter in case of bad weather
* You can spend the night there with your attendants, reducing travel time
* Toilets nearby for guests
* Place for the reception after the beach ceremony (saves money since you would not need to pay for a separate venue).
* Have a caterer do the reception food at the house. I did that for my wedding and it worked out much less expensive than dining out. They do most of the cooking at their house and then bring it in.
* A permit wouldn't be required (saving money).
* If the rental has a minimum day (some rent for 1 day, but many have 2- to 3-day minimum), you could decorate the house and patio area one day, have the wedding the next, and if friends or family (or even you and your new hubby) could stay there the 3rd day. Maybe they would be willing to offset the cost for the day they stay and use it as a mini-holiday.
You didn't mention budget, but here are a few links to a couple AWESOME places available on a nightly basis. Not cheap, but if it's only for one or two nights, it might be worth it. You could, of course, negotiate with the landlords to see if they could cut you a deal since it's for your wedding.

Hobbies For Pre-Teens/Teens Indoor and Out Alone? Please Help :)?
Vanessa
I tried like a bunch of stuff like this ^^^^ But all the answers were boring, so I felt an urge to try again. Lol. I can lie in front of TV for 8+ hours a day (not every day, but hey...) I got into drawing, but I was into for like, 2 days...
No electronics, :) Thanks ! :D If you can, give me a list please? P.S.; Why I want to stop being in front of the laptop screen and TV screen all day? Well, its not healthy! Give me a list of Outdoor and indoor. At least 2-10 things on each list, :D Sorry if I sound desperate, which I probably am... I mean, I could probably be swimming at the beach, but that gets boring sometimes, plus riding a bike. So other things than, Electronic devices, biking, knitting (I'm not a grandmaa!!) and swimming.
And, alone :)
We don't have a local pool.
Alone please?
and our closest zoo is, 1 hour and a half away.
Something that doesnt include money, also.
