Answer
Camping on Sentosa is not allowed, and the only campground on the island has closed. Camping is possible on St. John's Island, the Sisters Islands and Pulau Hantu, but free camping permits from the Sentosa Development Corporation (tel. +65-62750388) are required.

Have you ever slept under the stars?
Q. What I mean by this is not in a tent or a camper I mean just sleeping on the ground outside (or on a cot or mat) and if you did tell why you did sleep under the stars
Answer
Loads of times. Lucky life though. Got a military posting to Singapore and on free days we went out to the islands sometimes for a BBQ (had my own boat, built locally in Beach Road for a very cheap price) and just slept out on the beach at night.
On mountain hikes in good weather I sometimes use a bivvy bag instead of a tent and then I can gaze at the stars.
My Sinbad sleeping bag is Arctic rated so even on the Alps at 12 000 feet I've slept out on snow with just a tarp under it or tucked into the bivvy bag and seen the brilliant Alpine skies with no street lights at all to spoil the view and the thin mountain air being all nice and stargazer-friendly.
Totally black background with bright sharp stars and a Milky Way that stands out like you just can't see anywhere close to a city or even in the valleys away from cities.
Astronomy is my big hobby. Go to bed with binos and a coffee even in the garden on the few nights a year we get it good.
I live on a cold wet island and it's often cloudy but the only town is ten miles away and small, not some big city like a lot of folks have.
Haha, that's livin' easy, sleeping bag in the garden....backyard in the USA.
Don't even have to get up to put the coffee pot on. Just lift an arm out of the bag and get the stove going.
If you stand with binos looking high in the sky you soon get a sore neck but laying down it's easy and you can rest your elbows on the ground so your arms last longer too.
It's the best way to watch meteor showers too and get a whole sky look all at once without turning around or getting a strained neck.
Probably had well over 200 nights under the stars...but I've been out camping for a lot of years now and that good posting to Singapore built up a load of nights for the list.
Binos and the sky...not the best season for it now but come the autumn (fall) it gets very good for binocular astronomy.

Here's a song from Yorkshire in the north of England. Young girl called Kate Rusby.
She's older now and her face has changed, still sings well and still writes songs.
