I'm looking for toddler friendly beaches, I know there's one at Dana Point harbor, any nearer ones?

My favorite is Zuma Beach northwest of Malibu on the Pacific Coast Highway. However, the water is quite cold. If the tide is out, go to the south end of the beach, where you can go around some rocks and find a small, secluded beach with a nice place to sit in the overhanging rock wall.
At least that is my 1968 memory of it.
