Answer
Do it yourself!!!! My husband and I did everything ourselves to ensure that this day was truly about us and not some cookie cutter wedding. I took a quick look at a map of Pasco County, FL and you have some great waterfront parks. The beach is such a beautiful place to get married. My suggestion is to rent a beach shelter. This will give you access things like parking, bathrooms, a tent... and will also allow you to have fun doing everything else. We had an outdoor wedding and there are things to think of like renting chairs and tables, but the beauty of the surrounding saved on decorations! If this idea appeals to you, be sure to check with the park officials. They will most likely have great tips. Good luck!

Favorite place to go in Florida?

Looking for a cheap quick weekend getaway for my husband and I - we are 29 years old so no retirement beaches. Not really looking to do Orlando or South Beach

Answer
I would suggest Tallahassee Florida or Jacksonville Florida. I love both places. Both places cater to the younger college and 20-30's crowd.Tallahassee is a little more expensive but very clean and friendly, with plenty of things to do. Jacksonville is amazing also.

When your in Tallahassee don't forget to do these things:
IMAX Planetarium
Antique Car Museum
Florida Vietnam Veterans' Memorial
Maclay State Gardens
Pebble Hill Plantation

They have tons of lakes and beaches in the Tallahassee area. They have plenty of shopping, restaurants and things to do. Also I would recommend swinging about an hour away to Keaton Beach on the gulf were you can go scalloping, crabbing and deep sea fishing. It is so much fun. I would recommend going to eat at Carrabba's Grill. They have the best authentic Italian food.

Wakulla Springs
The world's largest and deepest freshwater spring is 15 miles south of Tallahassee in the 2,860-acre Edward W. Ball Wakulla Springs State Park. A free 10-minute orientation movie is offered at the park's theater at the waterfront. You can hike or bike along the nature trails, and swimming is allowed in designated areas. If the spring water is clear enough, 30-minute glass-bottomed boat sightseeing trips depart every 45 minutes daily, from 9:45am to 5pm during daylight saving time, and from 9:15am to 4:30pm the rest of the year. Even if the water is murky, you're likely to see alligators, birds, and other wildlife on 30-minute riverboat cruises.

Apalachicola National Forest
The largest of Florida's three national forests, this huge preserve encompasses 600,000 acres stretching from Tallahassee's outskirts southward to the Gulf Coast and westward some 70 miles to the Apalachicola River. Included is a variety of woodlands, rivers, streams, lakes, and caves populated by a host of wildlife. There are picnic areas with sheltered tables and grills, canoe and mountain-bike trails.

Jacksonville Florida
I love going to Jacksonville..The beaches are so calming and I would stay there forever if I could. They have great shopping malls also, not way to expensive, just right. Also don't forget to go to the Jacksonville zoo and aquarium, Huguenot Memorial Park and the Jacksonville Landing.

Hope this helped!! I would stay away from southern florida, just because its overrated and overcrowded, not to mention expensive.
