What would you do if you were stranded in a California beach?

-A camera

What will you eat?
What will you drink?
How would you make shelter?

I can understand being stranded on a California beach, not "in" a California beach. I would look for a volleyball court and three other players. After volleyball, I would try to find a 10 foot board and catch some of the nice waves on the outside. There is no privacy on the beach now, as we exist in an ugly over-populated world, and the good beach living is history, especially in California. I was a beachman for 13 years at South Mission Beach, the best years of my life, in California. There are not many trees on southern California beaches! Probably forbidden to make a fire or drink beer as we live in an increasingly police state society. And lastly, meeting a female surfer who wants to help me eat, drink, and make fire!

Talk about the location, by a lake, in the woods, tell what you smell, hear, taste, feel, what kind of fond memories, how the fire in the fireplace is comforting at night. That's three paragraphs right there.

Or you can describe it as if you were renting it to someone.
