I'm moving to long beach soon and I want a puppy. Are there stores that will sell you puppies? Or stores that have the contact info of breeders? I hate browsing online because I can never find any good sites with a good selection based on the location. Thank you

Do not buy a puppy from a pet store. They come from a horrible place called puppy mills. They are disgusting, cruel places that breeds dogs until they die. They take the puppies away from their mother at a very young age. This is what a puppy mill looks like:

No special affects are in this photo. They sell sick puppies and ALL pet stores sell puppy mill pups except for Petsmart because they do have certain adoption days from shelters. I once saw a real puppy mill in Virginia. And trust me it was horrid. The smell burns my eyes and the puppies looks so sick, it brought tears to my eyes. Do not buy from them. Also do not buy a dog over the internet. Most of the breeders online is a backyard breeder.

It depends upon the city (or county) where you live. Some places DO require one, others do not.
