I moved to Myrtle Beach 2 years ago and the domestic violence here is horrible and going through it myself I need to help. There is no help for victims here and the legal system is a joke.

The easiest way to start one is to go to the nearest Womens Refuge group which is currently open (could be a couple of hundred miles away) and ask them to assist you by forming a subgroup. They could then sponsor you to the various funders and other social groups as well as being able to advise you on probable policies and pitfalls.
