I would love to stay at a family friendly place, and am also looking for a beach where we can actually swim.
Answer
Hola. I would probably pick one of the resorts in the town of San Jose del Cabo about 20 minutes from Cabo San Lucas. Why? The area is more relaxing, its a nice little walk into the quaint colonial town of SJD and the resorts themselves are all 5 star and cater to families. Look into the Royal Solaris, Crowne Plaza, Barcelo, El Presidente and Costa Azul for starters. The only downside is that the beach in front of all these resorts can be hard to swim in. (The resorts have fantastic pool areas to make up for this.) Most of the beaches in Cabo are rough because the Pacific Ocean is huge and mighty. Lots of people expect Carribean type waters. We don't have that here. But don't despair. If swimmable beach is a must for you, then a couple resorts such as the Melia Real, and Pueblo Bonito and Villa del Arco have more sheltered swimming beaches. The latter two are right in Cabo, and the Melia is on the strip of freeway between the two towns.
Right in CSL is nice but it can be a little more crazy and nightclubish, especially during spring break and easter. Even on the beaches. You might find yourself dealing with drunken wet t-shirt competitions and drunk seadoo drivers.
When I think of families I always recommend they go to SJD.

I am having trouble finding a baby guinea pig to adopt?

I'm having trouble finding a baby Guinea Pig to adopt in the Palm Beach/Miami, Florida area.
Anyone have any tips or websites?
Answer
Go on petfinder.com. Read the newspaper and see if there is any shelter close to where you live. Or just ask someone. Remember to adopt more than one guinea pig so they will have a buddy to keep them company when you are not around. Im glad you are choosing to adopt instead of buying one. Good luck!
