how to pack my infant to the beach?

hi all my DD is 8m and i want to take her to the beach i know the diaper bag obviously, but what else do moms take to the beach? i heard people say they buy a tent, a beach stroller because my stroller is kind of expensive and i dont want to ruin it, big umbrella?? she doesnt crawl yet but she plays on the floor alot. any suggestions on what to buy?? thanks alot!

A giant towel or a blanket and lots of sunscreen especially for baby.

My daughter is 10 weeks old and will be 11 weeks when we leave for the beach. I am afraid for her and do not plan on keeping her out in direct sun. I have an umbrella and a small tent for shade. I also heard on good morning america that babies under 6 months shouldnt wear sunscreen! has anyone ever had a small baby on the beach and what did you do?

Yes. Just make sure to keep her shaded and protect her skin. I have seen some 50+ Spf baby suits for baby's to wear.
