Q. I'm going to Warped Tour for the first time this year, July 15th Va Beach. I had tickets in the past, but got in trouble weeks before and couldn't go. I have a few questions about it though:
1. How much money should I take?
2. What should I wear?
3. I heard they give free stuff, so should I take a backpack or some sort of bag?
4. How do I find out when the bands are playing?
5. What should I take, like sunscreen?
That's all I can think of right now, if you have any more info on WT let me know!

I just got back from MY first Warped Tour on Saturday, and I learned these lessons the HARD way.
1. I brought $155 and came back with 60. The water is really expensive, so if you think you'll have enough, bring an extra 25 more.
2. Shorts and a tank top. It gets REALLY hot, especially when you're walking around to catch bands and if you're gonna be in the pit. (p.s. if you are gonna be in the Cobra Starship pit... I sprained my thumb, my shoulder was yanked out a little, and I was trampled. I'm 5'10" too. So watch out for the Cobra Pit) Also, wear close toed shoes with good arch support. I wore Vans and my feet STILL hurt. But if you wear flipflops, I hope you don't break a toe.
3. Draw string bags are the best, that way you can't get your stuff stolen. They do give out free stuff. There's new up-and-coming bands that pass out stickers and CDs and stuff, so yes, bring a bag.
4. There is a huge blow up board that has all the stages, and under them all the bands playing at what times. Take a picture of it and then make a list of priorities for who you want to see the most.
5. YES! Sunscreen is the most important. I forgot it and now I have 2nd degree burns on my nose. ('cause I'm THAT smart). Bring sunscreen, camera, and one SEALED bottle of water. Bring your cell phone and money of course.
If you plan to get stuff signed by the bands, go to their tent and they usually have a sign that says when and where they'll be, or they'll say at the end of their set. If you want to get stuff signed by Cobra Starship and The Academy Is..., then you better get there a half hour before. I waited for about 50 minutes and BARELY got to meet TAI.(by the way they're really nice. Bill and The Butcher sang happy birthday to my friend and everything)
And just in case, they have a First Aid booth if you get food poisoning, overheated, or something.
For the most part, have a blast. For me, it was well worth the pain I'm in now. =)

Weddings have been canceled. Lobster joints a few steps from the Pacific were almost empty on the usually busy New Year's weekend Americans have long tolerated shakedowns by police who boost salaries by pulling over motorists for alleged traffic violations, and tourists know parts of Baja are a hotbed of drug-related violence. But a handful of attacks since summer by masked, armed bandits â some of whom used flashing lights to appear like police â marks a new extreme that has spooked even longtime visitors.
Lori Hoffman, a San Diego-area emergency room nurse, said she was sexually assaulted Oct. 23 by two masked men in front of her boyfriend, San Diego Surfing Academy owner Pat Weber, who was forced to kneel at gunpoint for 45 minutes. They were at a campground with about 30 tents, some 200 miles south of the border.
The men shot out windows of the couple's trailer and forced their way inside, ransacked the cupboards and left with about $7,000 worth of gear, including computers, video equipment and a guitar.

What, you think there would be no Mexican reaction to all the attacks on Mexicans and the anti- Mexican movement in the United States.
Simple answer, do not go to Mexico, you are not ,welcome there !

My family and 80,000 Mexicans were here when we were forced into America , We and legal immigrants ,do not need to thank anyone. My family was in America before yours came, did you ever thank anyone.
