The Seven Dwarfs meet the Southern Australian Heatwave...?

For years, the Seven Dwarfs have endured frostbite, chilblains, limb-stiffening arthritis - and Snow-White's constant ice-cold rejection of them as "real" men.

And as for their names - well, monikers like Sneezy, Dopey, Doc, Sleepy, Bashful, Grumpy and Happy don't exactly pull in the women...

And so last week, they decided,
"Enough is enough - time for a sea-change! What the hell, you only live once!"

Firstly, they gave Snow-White the flick, then decided to leave the frigid North and relocate South - to a warmer climate.
"You know," said Doc, "let's go all the way, and change our names!" - His suggestion was duly met with unanimous approval.
"So where should we move to?" asked Grumpy, the hint of a smile curving his mouth for the first time in decades.
"Well," Happy glanced up from the newspaper, open at the travel section, "air-fares to South Australia look pretty good at the moment. How about it, guys?"
"South Australia!" the other six whooped, visions of tanned, long-limbed Aussie beach-babes stirring their excitement. "Adelaide! Hey-ho! Here we come!"

And so they were on the next flight to Adelaide. Unfortunately, in their excitement, they hadn't bothered to listen to the news, and had absolutely no idea that southern Australia was in the grip of its worst heatwave on record - days and days of searing 100+ degrees. It was so hot that their hob-nail boots literally melted on the footpaths as they trudged about, desperately hunting for a house to rent, somewhere cool to shelter them from the ferocious heat.

They found a dear little cottage in the Adelaide Hills - not unlike the one they'd shared back in the snowy North - but the landlord needed seven names - and FAST.

New names!!! The seven poor little men were so utterly dazed with heat and jet-lag...words describing their extreme discomfort coursed through their molten minds. Sweaty, Sticky, Oozy, Smelly, Steamy...

The burning question (pardon the pun) - which seven "heatwave-inspired" names did the Seven Dwarfs actually decide on?
