As dog fighting is illegal in the United States, like any other illegal activity it would be "underground" thus it is highly unlike a bunch of random strangers online from all over the world would know if there was or was not a dog fight going on in your area.
Start doing what you would do for any other lost dog as opposed to searching yourself for a group doing illegal activity when you likely have nothing to say your dog actually got stolen for dog fighting purposes (it's dangerous and not too smart). Post up fliers, put an ad on craigslist about a lost dog, put something in the newspaper, call the local shelters... And if you're 100% positive your dog was stolen (and did not simply escape) file a police report.
